Account - What Does The Deal Management Tab Show Me?

FAQ-20250525-200249.png

What Is the Deal Management Tab?

The Deal Management tab gives you a complete view of all Opportunities linked to the Account—past, present, and in progress.

It’s designed to help you quickly understand:

  • What deals have happened

  • What’s in the pipeline

  • Where risks or blockers may exist

  • How fast (or slow) each deal is moving

What Can I See in This Tab?

There are three main sections:

Opportunity Table

A detailed list of every deal connected to the Account. Each row includes:

  • Opportunity Name & Stage – What's the deal and where it's up to

  • Amount & Close Date – Deal size and expected close

  • Deal Velocity Indicator – How fast or slow it's progressing

  • Deal Risk Indicator – Any risks flagged, like unclear timelines or stalled approvals

  • Relationship Strength Indicator – Whether stakeholder engagement is strong, moderate, or weak

Use this to prioritise high-value deals or review recent wins/losses.

Deal Lifecycle vs Stage Velocity

This bar chart compares:

  • Deal Age – How long it’s been open

  • Stage Duration – How long it’s been stuck in its current stage

Use this chart to spot slow-moving or stalled deals that may need intervention.

Example: A deal that’s been open for 120 days but stuck in “Proposal” for 90+ days could indicate a blocker.

Deal Risk vs Opportunity Value

This visual shows high-value deals that have risks attached.

It helps you:

  • Quickly identify where big deals are at risk

  • Understand if delays, unclear timelines, or stakeholder misalignment are holding them back

  • Focus your effort where it counts most

Why It Matters

  • Spot slow or at-risk deals before they go cold

  • Prioritise large deals that need help

  • Learn from past Closed-Won and Closed-Lost patterns

  • Have more informed pipeline conversations

Tip - Use this tab during pipeline reviews or QBRs. It turns raw CRM data into actionable insights for deal coaching, forecasting, and strategy.
